Tokyo happens to contain two of the most beautiful Edo-period gardens in Japan, and they are magical during autumn. These 400-year-old gardens have been carefully preserved, artfully designed, and offer a charming atmosphere to escape the energy of the city. You’ll wander through different paths and walkways, around lakes and streams, and see the stunning landscape from elevated viewpoints. You'll also find local vans selling street food and freshly roasted mochi, plus an amazing tea house serving traditional matcha. Both gardens are large and offer truly the best autumn experience you can have in Tokyo, and our guides will make sure you don’t miss out on any hidden gems and interesting facts about the historical and cultural aspects of the garden.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel your Hike Master Japan experience. Here is everything you need to know about our cancellation policy: Cancelling a confirmed booking: When cancelling a confirmed booking, your eligibility for a refund depends on the timing of your cancellation. - When cancelling a booking more than 30 days before the scheduled tour date, you will receive a full refund, minus a 10% payment processing fee. - When cancelling between 30 - 15 days before the tour date, you will receive a 50% refund. - When cancelling 14 days or less before the tour date, you will not receive a refund. - If an experience is cancelled by the host, the guest will receive a 100% refund. Reducing the number of guests on your booking: If you are reducing the number of guests on a booking, please note that this cancellation policy will apply. Should the removal happen less than 14 days before the tour, you will not be entitled to a refund for the reduced number of participants. Rescheduled bookings: If you need to reschedule the booking, this can occur without penalty so long as the original guide is available to accept your new booking. If it's within 14 days of the scheduled tour date, and the original guide is unavailable, but a different guide is available, there will be 20% fee to compensate the original guide. If no guides are available, then the standard cancellation policy applies.
