The Secrets of Fushimi Inari

Explore Fushimi Inari, its hidden bamboo forest, some stunning secret temples, & the sake district.

Service Description

Fushimi Inari is the most popular tourist attraction in Kyoto, and possibly Japan. The best way to escape the crowds and have a unique experience is with one of our guides, who will take you away from the tourists and show you some incredible hidden gems. You'll experience the magical atmosphere of Fushimi Inari and discover a hidden bamboo forest, all while learning about the history of the shrine and its cultural significance. After exploring Fushimi Inari, you'll enjoy a peaceful walk through quiet streets to a truly stunning secret temple. We keep this tour flexible to tailor the experience for each individual guest, with 3 optional extras for you to choose from: 1. Hiking to the Fushimi Inari viewpoint to get the full, immersive experience. 2. Discover the Fushimi Sake district, learning how sake is made, and enjoy free samples at the Fushimi Sake Museum. 3. Explore a huge temple complex, famous for its autumn leaves. Discuss these options with your guide once you book the tour, and the itinerary will be customised for you. Are you passionate about avoiding the crowds altogether? Then request a sunrise tour with your guide, this will be subject to the guide's availability, and an additional tip is recommended for the extra effort ;)
